Kartik Chandramouli is a multimedia editor and journalist based in Mumbai, India, specialising in crafting creative and evidence-based visual narratives across digital platforms.
In 2018, he transitioned from a design role in the advertising industry to visual journalism, joining Mongabay-India, a regional platform of the environmental and conservation news website, Mongabay. Currently working as a Senior Digital Editor, he spearheads multimedia initiatives for Mongabay-India. Kartik collaborates with a diverse network of freelance journalists and audio/visual storytellers from various regions across India to produce projects that include videos, photo stories, maps, data visualisations, and illustrations.
His expertise lies in conceptualising and executing editorial science-based multimedia projects. He enjoys facilitating collaborations and finding creative solutions to project constraints.
