Given land for power, Pavagada residents now powerless

Journalist Arathi Menon and photographer Abhishek N. Chinnappa visited villages adjacent to one of India’s largest solar parks in Karnataka. I worked closely with them to develop the visual narrative and script and edit the final video and photo layouts. I also developed ideas for map-based visualizations and worked with Technology for Wildlife to create maps that made the project’s scale relatable.
